AFD2 Series is a vortex sensor based on the Von Karman vortices principle. Under certain condi.tions, when a fluid with a certain volume flow flows around a spoiler column, two linear vorticeswith opposite rotation direction and regular arrangement will periodically form on both sides ofthe spoiler column. After nonlinear action, Karman vortices are formed. The sensor chip cansense the size of the vortex to measure the flow of liquid through the pipe. The sensor has thecharacteristics of long service life, pollution resistance, high precision and no drift.The AFD2 Series sensor has no moving parts inside and has high pollution resistance, which canguarantee the long-term use of users. Sensor communication is simple and easily connected tothe microprocessor, making it ideal for demanding and cost-sensitive OEM applications.
